Don’t miss the Veterans Opening Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 10:45 a.m., when Union County Veterans Services will honor local heroes and JROTC cadets. This year’s guest speaker is Roy Harris, U.S. Army Veteran, Vietnam, recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross with over 1,500 hours of Combat Assault time.
